One key aspect of this is our implementation of data mesh principles, namely data as a product, decentralised data ownership, self-service platforming and federated governance. As part of this journey, we are looking for a highly skilled Data Transformation Manager (d/f/m) to become part of the mobile.de Data Strategy leadership team.
The Data Strategy teams transform the way mobile.de works with data by facilitating our company's organisational transformation, guiding other teams in taking ownership, driving standards and providing easy access to high-quality & unified data for all our colleagues. Your responsibilities / role:
Coordinate the data mesh transformation throughout the company.
Be an engaging ambassador of data mesh principles and advocate its impact within domain teams and leadership.
Coordinate x-functional workshops to build domain-centric data mesh transition roadmaps together with our Data Strategy, Analytics and Domain teams.
Define and establish necessary roles and responsibilities for a successful transition and monitor your pre-defined success KPIs while executing on it together with the managers of the domains.
Give transparency over the ongoing transition to our company, engage the domains and collect feedback to improve our approach constantly.
Team up with our data mesh champions from Tech, Product, Analytics and Data to nurture a community of excellence.
Exchange data mesh learnings and coordinate our transition with the other companies within the Adevinta group internationally.
Build and bring a strong knowledge base into the company by participating in external conferences within the industry
You are highly ambitious and motivated to have an impact on our company (this will be the most impactful role in one of our most impactful organisational transitions)
You are a great project manager equipped with the necessary organisational skills and enjoy collaborating across several functions and teams.
You have experience in data and analytics terminology and methodology - a good knowledge of data mesh principles or even hands-on experience will be a critical plus (if not, fast up-skilling will be required).
You have workshop facilitation skills and the ability to reduce complex dependencies to executable roadmaps and requirements.
You are an excellent communicator who can evangelise data mesh principles throughout the company, showcase positive impact and give transparency on the transition.
You have fun at work and thrive by enabling others to have more impact based on data
