Join our Team as a (Junior) Data & Reporting Analyst (d/f/m) to lay the foundation of a harmonized and aligned usage of data and reportings in mobile.de.
You will be joining our Finance department and working together with a variety of partners from Business, Analytics, Product & Technology who strive towards making best in class decisions to move mobility and ensure the success of mobile.de and Adevinta. This is an opportunity to be part of that team and to collaborate with us, even across different Adentiva entities.
Your role:
Be the analyst in a team of different analytical and data science experts, who drives the usage of data and insights from data to the next level.
Be the point of contact to a variety of stakeholders, ranging from Senior Leadership Teams to Analysts of different domains and Data Engineers
Able to cover a wide range of responsibilities: operational analytics tasks like shaping and preparing reportings to support strategic decision making, understanding and converting complex business questions into specific insights.
Answer ad-hoc questions by grasping the core of the request fast and being able to deliver insights in a timely and comprehensible manner
Your ability to “connect the dots” between the different businesses in mobile.de, enables you to have a holistic understanding of the business and challenge the status quo in terms of data usage and interpretation
Strong communicator to challenge the status quo, tell data stories, maximize decision impact of your results and liaison with analysts and tech people alike.
Together with engineers you will play a key role in making data easily available and educating users on data usage.
Collaborate with Data Engineering teams to derive analytical value from the data sets, to increase & improve usage of data amongst stakeholders.
Your profile:
3+ years of hands-on experience as a data analyst, ideally in an e-commerce environment.
Strong academic background in mathematics, statistics, economics or similar fields.
Experience with translating business questions into specific requirements, relevant metrics and insights that give clear recommendations.
Outstanding communication, prioritization and project management skills.
Good grasp of statistics is a plus.
High proficiency in SQL, able to connect multiple complex data sources together to deliver impactful analysis.
Good understanding of cloud data warehouse systems such as BigQuery or the likes.
Experience in one or more business intelligence tools (e.g.: Tableau, Data Studio, Looker) and good understanding of data modeling concepts.
